MUCC are Tatsuro (Vo.), Miya (G), YUKKE (B), and SATOchi (Dr.). In February of 1997, guitarist Miya formed MUCC with Dr.SATOchi in Ibaraki after meeting vocalist Tatsuro. They reached their present lineup in February of 1999 when bassist YUKKE joined the band. They are a tough band that has performed some six hundred lives from their formation to the present day. 2006 was named the "Devilish Years." With four straight months of releases, and the expansion of their World Tour through Shanghai, Germany, France, and domestic locations (the development of the World Tour came in 2005), they decided to hold the World Tour final at the Nippon Budoukan, their first solo performance there. They achieved great success. In no time, they released a singles compilation album. Finishing up a national tour with 17 performances, they named 2007, ten years after their formation, as "10th Anniversary the Brilliant." And with a world tour of ten EU countries and Shanghai, weekly domestic lives, and the simultaneous release of their two Best Of abums entitled "BEST OF MUCC" and "WORST OF MUCC," they have sped up their activities more and more both in Japan and overseas. In June of 2007, MUCC offered a live broadcast to the entire world via Yahoo! of their Zepp Tokyo performance. In July, they participated in the Guns N' Roses World Tour 2007 with seven total performances in Japan. All of their albums up to "Gokusai" have already been released in the EU. Their latest release there was of their live album "Psychedelic Analysis" in July.

This rock band, D'espairsRay, first crossed international borders in 2004 when Japanese bands were still unknown to foreign land. They started out activities abroad in Europe and debut stateside in 2005 for their very first American headline tour, hitting San Jose, San Francisco, and Dallas. In fall of the same year they played Europe once more and returned to West Coast America, opening for Genitorturers, playing in 8 states. In 2006, they released their first album in Europe and received tremendous response from local fans. They were also among the last few bands to play at the legendry rock club CBGB in New York. In summer, they were invited to participate in the Wacken Open Air metal festival in Germany again garnering vast attention from press and music lovers. In winter of 2006, they headlined a European tour, appearing at 14 venues in 8 countries, with their popularity only growing forth. In July 2007, they are also slated to appear at rock festivals in Finland.

With a high level of musicianship and a mysterious charisma, THE UNDERNEATH is rapidly shaking up live houses throughout Japan with an aesthetic explosion of sound. As the moral support and backbone of the band, drummer MASAKI provides a rhythm that is at once heavy and danceable, working together with a strong electro beat. The partner to the rhythm section is bassist RYO, a man of great wisdom in everything from programming to recording engineering. The most aggressively provocative on stage is guitarist TAL. More the technical type, guitarist MASATO is a talented individual with skills from web design to graphic art. And with a vocal range exceeding three octaves and a beguiling, androgynous performance, frontman vocalist TAKA's character molds the image of this band. They are a band that can be called the Visual Band of the New Era, with every member involved in composing the music, and the ability to freely command two sides to their act---the creative group of the digital age, with each member's ability to manipulate ProTools to their will, and the physical rock band that rampages through their live performances. Thrilling and sexy with electro style and raw group fusion, and possessing two opposing shades with their blend of heaviness and romanticism, THE UNDERNEATH are the new and powerful rock band that represents the next generation of Japan.

Only One More Show…
Sunday, April 13th, 2008

We’ve got only ONE more show left.
I feel very sad.
But I think TOC doesn’t go with the word “sad”.
So, we’ll try to rock so hard that we don’t even feel sad.
I’m so happy that our first US tour is TOC with these bands and these crews.
We’ll keep up our best until the very last moment of the tour.

I love Taste of Chaos!!!
Sunday, April 13th, 2008

Hey guys!
It’s SATOchi.
It’s been a month and half since TOC started and the tour will be over after two more shows.
I feel like it’s was very long but it’s was short at the same time.
The best thing about this tour was that I could be like a family member with the crew and the staff.
I’ll keep up my best for last two shows not to regret about anything.
The catering crew takes care of our health through the tour, the other crew helps us on stage and off stage, and audience cheers us up.
I really feel this tour has been successful with the grace of all those people.
I appreciate it.
I love Taste Of Chaos.
See you guys!

SATOchi/MUCC

Party like Yukke!!!
Friday, April 11th, 2008

We played at Long Beach Arena and I was so impressed. The view around the venue was very beautiful.
The capacity of the venue is the biggest on this tour and so many people came to the show tonight.
So I got very excited.
We had a party with the crew after the show and it was a lot of fun
It’s so sad that we’ve got only three more shows left but I will stay excited and try not to feel sad for the rest of the tour.
Thank you everyone!
It was Yukke speaking who loves mangoes.

Cactuses in Arizona are Cool!
Thursday, April 10th, 2008

Thanks Arizona.
I love the state of Arizona.
The audience was very hot and I really enjoyed the show.
To my great regret I couldn’t skydive because of the weather this time.
I hope to skydive for sure the next time we come back.
Miya/MUCC

Las Vegas!!
Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

I never thought we would get to play in Las Vegas.
The atmosphere of the show today was kinda different from the others’ on this tour.
But I really enjoyed it as well.
We had live video playing on the screens, which is the first time on the tour.
That was great!
The venue was similar to my favorite one in Japan so I felt very comfortable playing there.
I really want to come back to play in Vegas again.
I hope we can have more time to enjoy Vegas since we didn’t have enough this time.
And hope you guys have fun with our concert then.
See ya!!

Tatsuro/MUCC

Thanks for all support!
Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Hello everyone!
It was the last day of four straight show days.
The air was thin because the altitude of El Paso was high.
It was a little harsh but the show went really well by the grace of the audience.
I can be who I am now because of all your support.
I’d like to thank the TOC crew that has been supporting us.
I really appreciate it.
And I’d like to thank the catering crew for serving us great food.
They keep us being healthy through this tour.
PINPIN! MUKIMUKI!
Everyone, take care of yourself not to catch a cold or anything and be healthy!

SATOchi/MUCC

Warm!
Saturday, April 5th, 2008

We had a show in San Antonio,TX today.
The venue was huge and it was great to play there.
Talking of San Antonio, San Antonio Spurs comes up to my mind.
I’m a big fan of the team.
I hope to watch their game live sometime.
As it’s getting closer to the end of the tour, I’ll try my best to keep up till the end.
Thank you!
Yukke/MUCC

A hundred to one it clears up
Friday, April 4th, 2008

When we play at outdoor venues on this tour, it always rains when we arrive.

But it always clears up around the time doors open.

TOC is so great!!

My F**king Mouth
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

It was the first day of a series of four show days today.
I did such silliness that I mistook where I was.
I shouted “Texas!!” from the stage though we were actually in Oklahoma.
As I told the other guys on the tour, they were like “really?” and just laughed.
But it must be beyond a joke for the audience.
My apologies…
But I was so happy that people came to see me who made such a silly mistake, at the signing and made compliments to me.
I’ll come back here and have another show to make up for this.
Let’s have much more fun then!!
See you guys!!!

Tatsuro/MUCC

GREAT TOUR!
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

Hey guys!

This is SATOchi, the drummer from MUCC!!

Yaaayyyy!!!

We’ve done sweaty series of three show days in a row for the past couple weeks.

And finally we had a non-continuous show day and will have a day off tomorrow.

I assume it is like that in order to prepare for the four shows in a row after tomorrow, which we haven’t done on this tour.

More than a month is over already since TOC started.

As time goes by, we got closer and closer to the tour crew and we’ve been having more and more fun.

By grace of the tour crew, the local staff, and the fans, this tour has been going very well.

I really appreciate it so much!

SATOchi/MUCC

Rainy to Fair
Sunday, March 30th, 2008

We are in Little Rock,AR today.

It was the second time to have an outdoor show on the tour.

It was raining a little before the show started.

But the sky cleared up while we were playing.

It was very pleasant and I enjoyed the blue sky!

The food was so delicious that I ate too much today.

So I will play more actively to consume the about-to-spill energy from the next show on!

Yukke/MUCC

Japanese-like Weather
Saturday, March 29th, 2008

The weather of Biloxi reminds me of that of Japan probably because it’s next to the beach.
That made me miss home a little bit.
The show was very exciting tonight.
The security seemed very strict tonight so I felt pity for the audience.
Thank you, Biloxi!

Miya/MUCC

Orlando Bloom
Friday, March 28th, 2008

We are in Orlando!
I have had no complaint about this tour until now, in fact everything has been beyond my expectation.
But I got the first dissatisfaction here, that is, I wish we could have like 10 days off here.
There are too many fun things to do in one day in Orlando.
But it’s ok more fun stuff should be waiting for us in other places like California.
Still, I appreciate TOC giving us even one day off here. It was really fun!
I hope we could come back here on our own next time.
Anyway, we’ll do our best tomorrow!

Tatsuro/MUCC

SUMMER SUMMER!
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

Hello, everyone!

This is SATOchi!!

It was the first outdoor show on the tour today.

Everyone seemed like having more fun than usual under the open sky.

I realized as I played why the stage manager recommended me to wear shorts.

It’s SUMMER!

And I can’t close my messsage without thanking all the crews.

I love you!

You love me. :)

MUCC’s latest album “SHION” is now available on iTunes US!

You can’t miss it!!

WARM WARM WARM!
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

We are in Florida now.
Since Florida is one of the things I was looking forward to, I’m so happy to be here.
And I didn’t know it would be that warm here so it is really great!
As well as the weather, the show was really hot tonight.
It seems like my mangoes that I’m waiting for to be ripe are getting sweeter and sweeter in the storng sunshine.
I’m hoping they will be ready to eat in a couple days….Yukke/MUCC

GREAT FOOD!!
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

Hey, this is Miya from MUCC.

The catering on this tour is great. They serve amazingly delicious food everyday!

If you say their food is just ok, there would be no delicious food for you in the world!

Miya/MUCC

NO CHAOS NO LIFE
Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

Usually, it’s kinda hard to watch the other bands since I’m busy doing my stuff.
But finally, I could watch all of them tonight and they are all awesome!
When I got to the venue this morning, I was already starting excited and had a feeling that today would be a very good day.
And it actually became so!
As I was chatting with our catering crews and told them I had a sore throat.
And they made ginger coke for us. How kindhearted they are!!
I really feel we ARE supported.
Thank you so much, all the crews and the other staff.
We’ll keep our best!!!

Tatsuro/MUCC

FIRE!!
Friday, March 21st, 2008

Hello, everyone.
It’s SATOchi, the drummer from MUCC.
Half of RTOC is already over.
Compared to our first day in the US, our life has got better.
We have got to enjoy everything including trouble.
Above all, food at our catering is GREAT!
Thank you very much, Shelley-SAN!
Also I owe all the other crews gratitude.
Thank you for being really nice and helpful to us!!
I also want to give thanks to the other bands.
We’ll keep our end up!

SATOchi/MUCC

NY Islanders!
Thursday, March 20th, 2008

I finally made it to New York that I’ve been longing for, and I felt so happy I played there.
The place we played at tonight was the home ground of New York Islanders and I was impressed to play at that kind of place.

The reasons why I’ve been able to enjoy this tour so much are the great other bands and crews, and delicious food our great cooks make for us everyday.
I’m most grateful to those people!
Hope it will get more and more fun for the rest of the tour.

Yukke/MUCC

Stomachache…
Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

It seemed like there were not too many Jrock fans in Portland compared to the other cities we’ve visit.

But I was so glad that even those who were new to us looked having fun and excited to our performance.

I really want to come back here again!!!

Miya/MUCC

VERY VERY NICE and KIND.
Monday, March 17th, 2008

Hey guys, this is SATOchi!

We have done shows three nights in a row!

How are you guys doing?

The show went really well tonight and I enjoyed it.

I’m so happy that the audience was really nice and hot.

The crew for each band is very very nice and kind as well as the official TOC crew!!!

It is really enjoyable to tour with them!

SATOchi/MUCC

Rockstar Chaos
Monday, March 17th, 2008

The Rockstar signing was so much fun tonight.

I’m so happy there were so many people making a line to see us and they were excited.

The great thing about being on this tour is not only playing on the stage but other events where we can meet and communicate with fans in person.

I hope you guys come and have fun together with us too.

See you guys soon at your closest town!!

Tatsuro/MUCC

I love Camden!
Friday, March 14th, 2008

The oblong view from the stage at the Susquehanna Bank Center was so unique and I enjoyed playing there.

The great things about this tour are that we can play at different venues each day and those venues are really big in scale.

I’ve been having a lot of experience and fun through the tour.

Needless to say, I had fun at the tonight’s concert and I’m looking forward to play in Asbury Park tomorrow.

Yukke/MUCC

Happening!
Thursday, March 13th, 2008

It was great that Yukke from MUCC played bass with Atreyu.

I hope that more unexpeceted fun stuff like this happens!

And needless to say, I enjoyed our performance.

I love you CHICAGO!!
Thursday, March 13th, 2008

The crowd was so hot in Chicago.

I really enjoyed playing for the great people at the beautiful venue and I think we did a great show tonight.

I hope we can keep doing great shows without losing energy.

I’ve been socializing with the TOC staff and the other bands little by little so the tour has been more and more fun.

Anyway, please keep supporting us!!

Tatsuro/MUCC

Thank you all!
Thursday, March 13th, 2008

Hello! This is SATOchi!

We are in Rochester, NY today.

We had some trouble during our performance but we enjoy that too.

We enjoy every single moment when we play!

So we are alright! Actually, that makes us more excited.

At last but not least, I’d like to thank all the TOC staff for helping us set drums and other stuff.

We are very impressed by all the help. Thank you so much!!

BYE-BYE!

—SATOchi

Pistons!!
Sunday, March 9th, 2008

Tonight, we played at the home town of Detroit Pistons that I have supported!

Detroit seems to be called as a city of rock, metal and black music but I was so excited to perform in the city like that!!

I haven’t even imagined Detroit has such a beautiful night view.

It’s too bad that I have to leave the city just in one day….

At the same time, I’m looking forward to visit more nice cities in the US.

Taste of chaos is the BEST!! Thank you!!!

—Yukke/MUCC

Look forward to seeing you guys!!

Chaos, chaos, chaos.

—Tatsuro

It’s the second day of the tour but I’m not tired at all.

I love being on the road.

Thanks, Kansas City!

—Yukke

It was great to meet the hot and warmhearted people in KC!

—Miya

080326_tal.jpg Today’s show was an outdoors show, in miami florida. The skies were beautiful and the weather was equally nice, so as we played, it was a great sight to see. Hopefully, the next outdoor show we have, we will get to play some more material, because it was extremely fun to play outdoors, so i cant wait to do it again.Every show in this tour has been different, but they all have been great in one way or another, and the taste of chaos has been a great opportunity for us to get to  introduce our music to America and to gain some fans in the process, we are very appreciate and thankful. Thank You!!!  TAL

DULUTH , GEORGIA
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

Yesterday, on our way to Georgia, we experienced some bus problems, so we had to stay behind somewhere in Virginia. We were worried we would not make it on time, so we got ready on our bus, applying our make up and doing our hair so that as soon as we got there, we would be ready to play. It took us 6 hours to get to the venue, but our drive PQ got us there on time. Todays show went well and luckly we had a bigger stage tonight. We want to express thanks and gratitude to all the people who came out tonight for our Duluth show. Thank You!!!
